What is there to do?

An awful lot! The production of the entire Rotterdam Pride Week is quite a job, which our executive team has been working hard for months, but without volunteers we would be nowhere. So you are an important link for us and therefore like to look at what would suit you. In general, help is needed with the festival, the community events and the pride talks. Various jobs can then occur such as production support, artist service, PR and communication support, setting up and dismantling an event, handing out resources, receiving guests and much more.  

Do I need experience as a volunteer?

No, that is not a requirement. Of course, it can be very useful if you do have experience in certain areas. Please indicate this if you think it could be a good addition.  

How will I be briefed?

Our coordinator will personally brief you based on your tasks.

Why should I help?

It is important work for the LGBTQIA+ community in Rotterdam, but above all very fun! It is also a way for you to connect with other queer people in Rotterdam, who knows, you might meet your new partner or bestie at work. You are also part of our Pride network forever and we are forever grateful to you, which we will also express in extras such as goodie bags and fun events. 

What is the minimum age?

You can work for us as a volunteer from the age of 16.
